Legacy Community Church
A Place To Belong!
Legacy Community Church has different departments, called ministries, which are built specifically for all ages! Ministries are an important and integral part of the church community. It is a place for families to come together and learn and worship God together. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandparent, a busy parent, or a businessperson with big responsibilities, you are invited to be a part of the vibrant, loving church community. Here is how you can connect, learn, and grow at Legacy.
(Nursery-5th grade)
Children's Ministry
Your child is important to us, and it is our desire to partner with parents in ministering to each child’s spiritual, physical and emotional needs. Every Sunday and Wednesday, Legacy’s Children Ministry offers a safe, loving, and fun environment for children to experience God’s love through teaching, stories, songs, and games.
(Grades 6-12)
Student Ministries
“The Uprising”
Each week, students will have an opportunity to encounter God through music, lessons, games, and community with other students. The Uprising’s mission is to “Love God, Love People, and Serve the Campus.” Our Vision is for each student to leave the most positive impact in the world, through their relationship with Christ, as they are capable.
The name, “The Uprising”, means: Students rising above labels given to them, rising to become the best version of themselves as possible, and rising up to become the leaders of their community.
Adult Ministry
Adult Ministry
If you are searching to connect with other adults and engage in great Bible Studies, this is the ministry for you! The Adult Ministry meets Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. Well planned lessons are presented by Pastoral Staff who love connecting with people. You are invited to be part of this wonderful ministry!
(Seniors 55+)
West of 55
Adults in the second half of life experiencing the joy of Christ in fountains of usefulness through inter-generational influence and service.
Fellowship to share life’s joys and sorrows with others in a caring way. Encouraging others to give them meaning, purpose, ministry and mission. Like the fountain that sits in front of Legacy Community Church, may the living water be flowing out of our lives, refreshing others.
Living a life that matters; living a legacy!
Men's Group
Band of Brothers
The men’s group (Band of Brothers), at Legacy is a group of men dedicated to meeting one another on common ground and backing each other’s spiritual growth. This is a place to be honest, transparent, and authentic with God, each other, and ourselves. Its mission is for each man to be a better person, husband, father, brother, friend, and leader within their families and community.
Band of Brothers meet once a month on a Saturday morning and usually enjoy a time of eating, fellowship, and Bible study.
Women's Group
Legacy Ladies Gathering
LLG is for women and girls. We meet once a month on the third Saturday morning. We usually start with breakfast and then focus on the activity of the day. This activity can be discussing topics women specifically deal with, working on a project for the church or community, or sometimes just doing something fun. We try to balance serving and fun.
(Prayer Ministry)
Prayer Warriors
Communicating with God through Prayer has been essential to the Church and cannot be overestimated as to its impact in the lives of people and families. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, before the morning service, we gather together praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers from our Prayer Warriors team pray for their pastors, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Wednesday morning (9:30am) and Sunday morning (8:30am) prayer teams come together for a special time of prayer.
Media Ministry
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons will soon be uploaded to our website in audio formats. We also maintain an active Facebook page for additional church communication.
