Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
Pastor Chris and Dawn Annas, Lead Pastors
As the primary teaching and preaching Pastor, Pastor Chris has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He and his wife, Dawn, have two grown children and one grandchild. San Jose has been their home for 20 plus years. Pastor Chris and Dawn are passionate about showing God’s love to all, no matter who they are. They believe and are called to Love God, Love Others and Serve the World so that they can make a difference in this world for Jesus Christ. Pastor Chris and Pastor Dawn are Ordained Ministers with the Assemblies of God.
Pastor Chris Annas
He was raised in a pastor’s home. His grandparents were actually the pastors here at Legacy (1957-1973) and built this Church on Lark Avenue. Pastor Chris received his BA in Biblical Studies at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo. He went on to earn a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry at The Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.
He loves to play tennis, softball, basketball, bike ride, swim, power walk with his wife as well as watch sporting events .
He especially enjoys hanging out with his wife, kids and grandchild!
Pastor Dawn Annas
She is a daughter of missionaries to Africa, where she grew up, so she is very comfortable living in a multi-cultural city. Dawn was a Registered Dental Assistant and then left that occupation to raise her two children. She works full time at the church as the Administrator and Worship Leader. She loves a good hot cup of coffee. She loves to listen to worship music while power walking and hanging out with her husband.
